Tests and treatment

• PHC offers tests and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections. Where possible we’ll treat you at your first visit. However, not all infections can be diagnosed immediately – samples need to be sent off to our laboratories and if we find any infection, you will be able to check online on your smartphones and you will be asked to return for treatment. Other services we offer are:
• 15 minutes HIV testing, PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis)and PEP (post exposure prophylaxis). Just ask at the front desk when you arrive at the clinic.
• A contraceptive service with both walk-in and booked appointments. We also offer emergency contraception. Please call the clinic on 03-5817-4415 for further details.
• You can come to us for your health care anytime anyday.

Language and interpreters

English speaking doctors, nurses and staff are here to help you. Other languages are interpreted via telephone; Spanish, Portuguese, French, Germany, Russia, Korean, Chinese etc.

Online medical sevices and Postal inspection

Online clinic and mail-in testing for STDs. We will mail medication and test kits to the address of your choice.

Hours Personal Health Clinic Open hours

• We are open from 14:30 hrs to 20:30 hrs on Mon, Tue, Thurs and Fri.
• Reception is open until 15 minutes before the closing time of the clinic.
• On Saturdays, we will be open from 12:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs, then 16:30 hrs to 20:00 hrs.

Appointments

You can always walk-in without an appoint, but you can privately and easily book your appointment online for select services, or you can also call 03-5817-4415 to book your appointment for fast service. Clinic staff can also answer any questions you may have.

Insurance and payments

We provide insurance-free services, thus fee is 100%. If you are covered by the insurance from abroad, and you need the form to be signed, we will help you, with a fee of 4000yen. Payment is through Cash or Credit-cards (American express, VISA, Master card, JCB, Union pay, Diners club, Discover)

Access

Personal Health Clinic is situated right at the centre of UENO town, a walking distance from Ueno station, Ueno-hirokoji, Ueno-okachimachi, Okachimachi and Yushima stations. The clinic provides privacy to the patients, with individual seats with semi-cubicles.
